Saint Aidan's Mission Hospotal at the corner of Cross and Leopold Streets, was the first hospital in Durban to cater for the health needs of Indian People. The hospital was founded by Dr. Booth whom Mahatma Gandhi visited regularly to assist in caring for the sick.
