The Russian Propagandhi - Strube in Daily Express, London, England, 1930.

Diehard elements in Britain claimed to see Soviet inspiration in the spontaneous violence that erupted in many parts of India as a result of the savagery employed by the British Raj to suppress the Salt Satyagraha. This version of Indian events is exemplified here by Strube, the cartoonist of the strongly anti-Congress Daily Express, the chief organ of the Beaverbrook Press.
