Gandhi, the Musical, performed by students of the Amstelveen College at Amstelveen Theatre, Netherlands, January 30, 2008. Gandhi the Musical tells the intriguing story of the life of Mahatma Gandhi. His determination, the love for his wife Kasturba, the breach with his eldest son and his fear for the struggle of freedom getting out of hand will be shown against the background of a tradional and divided India. Gandhi preaches a message of love, respect and mutual understanding. His life is an example for many freedom fighters like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King. Mahatma Gandhi became the global symbol for non violence.
